Job summary
Walmart is hiring a Developmental Technician specializing in Refrigeration and HVAC Maintenance to join our store facilities team in the New York area. You will help maintain safety, functionality, and aesthetics of stores, equipment, and fixtures under the guidance of the General Maintenance Manager.
The role involves inspections, cleaning, repairs, and responding to urgent maintenance needs. Candidates should have a high school diploma, be 18+, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work at
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Climb ladders frequently and work at heights.
- Comfortable in varying temperatures.
- Valid driving record.
Responsibilities
- Assist or perform under supervision of an experienced technician.
- Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using craft skills and tools.
- Use the work order system to receive and document repair work orders.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls promptly.
- Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
- Complete required training to operate equipment safely.
