Key Responsibilities:

• Installation:
• Install HVAC/R systems in commercial buildings, including ductwork, piping, and electrical components
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine proper installation procedures
• Ensure systems are installed in compliance with local, state, and federal codes and regulations
• Maintenance and Repair:
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R systems to ensure optimal performance
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions in HVAC/R systems
• Replace defective components and parts as necessary
• Testing and Inspection:
• Conduct system tests and inspections to ensure proper operation
• Identify and troubleshoot issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Verify system functionality and performance after installation and repair
• Customer Interaction:
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions
• Explain system operations and maintenance to clients
• Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns promptly
• Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities
• Complete work orders, service reports, and other necessary documentation
• Ensure all paperwork is submitted in a timely manner

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in HVAC/R is preferred
• Valid HVAC/R technician license or certification
