Job summary

Amatrol is seeking an HVAC assembler in Jeffersonville, IN to build and wire HVAC/refrigeration systems from blueprints. You will solder copper tubing, read specs, and troubleshoot defects while maintaining production equipment and documenting procedures.

Schedule is day shift with optional overtime; upfront signing bonus of $1,000 paid across four anniversaries. A strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical specs (English).
• Self-motivated, works well independently.
• Reliable — on the floor and ready at 6:00.
• Copper soldering experience a plus.
• EPA 608 Certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble HVAC and refrigeration systems, subassemblies, and components.
• Solder copper tubing.
• Read blueprints and specs to build to standard.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose defects in components and equipment.
• Calibrate and maintain test/production equipment.
• Document build procedures.
