Job summary

A leading HVAC services company in Chapel Hill, North Carolina is seeking an ADUSA HVAC/R Technician - Apprentice. This role involves learning and developing necessary skills for preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, ice machines, and refrigeration equipment while working under experienced supervision. Candidates should have knowledge of HVAC systems, strong communication skills, a high school diploma, and the ability to obtain EPA certification within three months. The position requires participation in after-hours on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of refrigeration, heating, air conditioning, electrical systems, and plumbing.
• Strong computer skills and ability to use maintenance management software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist an experienced technician or supervisor in completing assigned work orders and scheduled repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on assigned HVAC/R and related equipment.
• Track and document refrigerant usage in accordance with Brand standards and EPA requirements.
