Job summary

JOHN B SANFILIPPO & SON, INC is seeking an HVAC-R Technician responsible for repair and maintenance of HVACR equipment and related controls. The role may involve other maintenance tasks and special projects on-site.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and 2+ years of HVAC-R experience, with knowledge of electrical components and strong mechanical skills. EPA 608 certification is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two plus years of HVAC-R repair, maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
• Knowledge of working with electrical components and wiring required.
• Strong mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains HVACR systems and related equipment using hand and power tools, excluding piping.
• Moves, installs, and adjusts fixtures, motors and other electrical/mechanical equipment.
• Assists in other building maintenance or repairs activities as needed.
• Works in fabrication as needed, excluding fabrication activities related to pipe systems.
• Heating (Furnace, boiler, heat pump).
• Ventilation & Air filtration.
• Air Conditioning.
• Refrigeration (cooler, freezers, cases).
• EPA Section 608 required.
