Global Placement Firm is seeking an HVAC/R Technician with strong commercial refrigeration expertise for Des Moines, IA. The role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining walk-in coolers, freezers, ice machines, and related HVAC/kitchen equipment, with emphasis on safety and quality.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of commercial refrigeration experience, EPA Type I/II or Universal certification, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial refrigeration experience.
• EPA Certification (Type I & II or Universal).
• Experience with HVAC/R systems; kitchen hotside experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical field work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems (walk-ins, freezers, ice machines).
• Troubleshoot HVAC systems and kitchen hotside equipment (fryers, ovens, steamers).
• Perform preventive maintenance and ensure safety/quality standards.
• Maintain service records and communicate with clients/dispatch.
• Represent client and Global Placement Firm with professionalism.
