Global Placement Firm is seeking an HVAC/R Technician for commercial refrigeration and kitchen equipment in Des Moines, IA. This full-time/temp-to-hire role offers an hourly wage up to $35+ based on experience and certifications.

The ideal candidate will diagnose, repair, and maintain walk-ins, freezers, ice machines, and related HVAC/kitchen systems, with strong safety and documentation practices. EPA Type I/II or Universal certification is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial refrigeration experience.
• EPA Certification (Type I & II or Universal).
• HVAC/R systems experience; kitchen hotside preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs in field service.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems.
• Troubleshoot HVAC systems and kitchen hotside equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety compliance.
• Maintain service records and communicate with clients.
• Collaborate with team to deliver effective service.
