Job summary

CoolSys is seeking an experienced HVAC/R Technician to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on a wide range of commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment, including air conditioning, boilers, and walk-in units. You’ll work across diverse projects with emphasis on reliability, safety, and superb customer service.

Qualified applicants have 5+ years of field experience, an active EPA certification, a valid driver’s license, and strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC and refrigeration experience.
• Active EPA Certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in elevated locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Service air conditioning units, electric motors, heating units, and heat pumps.
• Work with boilers, burners, economizers, humidifiers, RTUs, and remote condensing units.
• Handle ice machines, walk-in coolers/freezers, and upright refrigerators/freezers.
