Job summary

Carlson & Stewart Refrigeration, Inc. is seeking mechanically inclined HVAC-R technicians to service, repair, and install commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems across the Upper Midwest.

You will diagnose issues, handle refrigerants in compliance with laws, and travel as needed with per diem and hotel provided. Candidates should have 2+ years of HVAC experience, EPA certification or ability to obtain it, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs while maintaining a

• EPA certification (or ability to obtain).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work on feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and install commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify system issues and complete repairs.
• Handle refrigerants in compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Travel for jobs as needed (per diem + hotel provided).
• Participate in an on-call rotation.
• Use EMS software to access customer control systems remotely.
• Utilize mobile devices to log work orders, hours, and diagnostics.
• Navigate dispatching software, email, and online resources.
• Maintain a professional appearance at all customer locations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
