As a Journeyman Technician at ElitAire, you will provide technical support to customers on a broad variety of equipment, including start-up and routine maintenance, system troubleshooting, equipment repair, recommended enhancements, and lifecycle support.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

1. Provide initial Check-Test-Start for various products we represent.
2. Service products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction.
3. Use hand-tools, blueprints, or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
4. Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations.
5. Document work and maintain files.
6. Serve as a direct customer contact representing the company.
7. Provide training for troubleshooting and maintenance at customer sites.
8. Offer technical support to customers.
9. Attend OEM equipment training to enhance capabilities.
10. Work overtime/weekends as necessary.
11. Drive a company vehicle to job sites with some overnight travel.
12. Proactively recommend additional work based on equipment status and client needs.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter capable of problem-solving and decision-making independently. Must be self-motivated, accurate, efficient, and responsive to customer needs. Additional requirements include:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a Technical/Trade School with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning, plus 7+ years of related experience.
• Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily.
• Punctuality and consistent attendance.
• Maintaining an acceptable driving record and adhering to company policies.
