Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and test refrigeration components and systems for a leading manufacturer. You will apply thermodynamics, CAD, and drafting tools to create blueprints and validate performance across cold-storage and industrial cooling lines.

The role requires 2–7 years in relevant production settings, with SolidWorks/Creo proficiency and strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; HVAC/R production experience preferred.
• 2–7 years in production/manufacturing roles.
• Proficient in 3D and 2D CAD; SolidWorks and Creo.
• Experience in Controls Integration, Design Validation, and HVAC/R systems.
• Strong understanding of refrigerants and refrigerant system design.
• Experience in thermal analysis, heat load calculations, and compressor selection.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test mechanical refrigeration components, equipment, and machinery.
• Design products such as refrigerators, air conditioners, and other refrigeration systems.
• Conduct thermal analysis, heat load calculations, and compressor selection.
• Ensure designs comply with UL and other regulations.
• Use SolidWorks and Creo to create blueprints and schematics.
• Collaborate with engineers and departments to improve functionality and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and solve issues in refrigeration systems.
• Provide technical support to production and clients.
• Stay updated with advancements and integrate findings.
