Job summary

The RISE Group is seeking an HVAC/R Apprentice to gain hands-on experience servicing and installing a wide range of systems across Rhode Island and Massachusetts. You will work under Journeymen and foremen, with opportunities to advance toward licensure while building essential troubleshooting and customer relations skills.

This role involves indoor and outdoor work, climbing ladders, and travel between jobs during the workweek.

Qualifications

• HVAC knowledge with 1 year experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• EPA Type II certification preferred.
• Driver's license preferred.
• Willingness to learn new systems.
• Strong communication and customer relations.

Responsibilities

• Work towards becoming a licensed technician.
• Attend required classes as required by Rhode Island.
• Assist Journeymen technician and foreman.
• Refrigeration experience is a plus.
• Experience with control systems is a plus.
• Willingness to learn new systems.
• Excellent communication skills & customer relations.
• Safety on the jobsite at all times.
• Other duties as assigned
