Job summary

Smardt, a global pioneer in oil-free centrifugal chiller technology, seeks a Quality Control Inspector to validate product quality throughout manufacturing. You will perform in-process, receiving, and final inspections, verify conformance to drawings, specs, and customer requirements, and document findings to support ISO quality standards.

You will work with production, engineering, and supply chain teams, support RCA/CAPA, and maintain inspection records.

Qualifications

• 2+ years minimum experience as a Quality Inspector or in a related manufacturing quality role.
• Experience working in HVAC, mechanical equipment, or industrial manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, engineering specifications, and assembly documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process inspections to verify product conformance through visual inspections, dimensional checks, and measurement tests.
• Conduct receiving inspections of raw materials and components to ensure compliance with specifications and purchase requirements.
• Perform final inspections of completed assemblies and products prior to shipment.
• Verify that products comply with engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Review work orders, drawings, and inspection documentation for completeness and accuracy.
