Qualifications

Responsibilities
- Install and remove HVAC equipment, including performing pipefitting and welding tasks.
- Complete safety analysis before each task.
- Maintain professional manner and appearance while working, especially in client presence.

- Skilled in Mechanical Welding & Pipefitting – Pipe Welder preferred for this position but not required if other skills offset
- Experience in Installation & Removal of HVAC Equipment (Chillers, Rooftop Units, Air Handling Units, Pumps)
- Knowledge & Experience in Pipefitting – To Include Weld Pipe, Screw Pipe and Copper Pipe
- Our market covers North Florida. Applicant must be willing to travel to cover market area. (Compensation provided for travel)
- Safety PPE is furnished and must be worn continuously throughout the workday.
- Uniforms are provided and must be worn throughout the workday.
- Applicant must furnish a Tape Measure and Leather, Steel Toe Work Boots, for the job.
- Our work takes place in many facilities that requires background screening and drug testing. Applicant should not apply if there will be any clearance issues with these facilities.
- Safety Analysis is required to be completed on mobile device (Furnished), before each new task begins.
- Applicant must be physically able and qualified to perform the essential functions of the job, they should also have a basic knowledge of the work in this trade and be able to perform the work at an acceptable level of quality. This includes, but is not limited to climbing, lifting and carrying material weighing approximately 75 pounds.
- Applicant, at times, will work by themselves. Many times, in the presence of our customers. Professional mannerism is a must. This includes, workmanship, appearance, language and working safely.
- Compensation is established by the Collective Bargaining Agreement in effect, and the Applicant must be a willing participant, and in good standing with the Plumber's & Pipefitter's Local Union #234, in Jacksonville, FL.
- Our regular shift is Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3.30 PM
- Valid Driver's License required
- Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills required
