We’re recruiting a Refrigeration Project Manager for a global manufacturer of commercial and industrial refrigeration equipment.
This is a customer-facing project role managing technically complex refrigeration projects from order handover through engineering, manufacture, delivery and completion.
The Role
- Manage commercial and industrial refrigeration projects from order to delivery
- Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the project
- Coordinate sales, applications engineering, manufacturing and operations
- Review project specifications, drawings and technical requirementsManage project schedules, milestones and delivery datesCoordinate technical submittals and customer approvals
- Track equipment through engineering and productionManage project changes and variations
- Resolve technical and commercial project issuesCoordinate equipment delivery and site requirements
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
- Ensure projects meet customer specifications, budget and programme
The Candidate
- Project management experience within commercial or industrial refrigeration
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and equipment
- Experience with evaporators, condensers, gas coolers or heat exchangers advantageous
- CO₂ / natural refrigerant experience highly desirable
- Background with a refrigeration manufacturer, OEM or contractor
- Able to interpret technical drawings and project specifications
- Strong customer-facing and communication skills
- Commercially aware and highly organised
- Comfortable coordinating multiple projects simultaneously

The Opportunity
- This is an excellent move for someone who understands refrigeration projects technically but wants to develop their career on the manufacturer side.
- Rather than running installation crews, you’ll coordinate major refrigeration equipment projects between customers, contractors, consulting engineers, applications engineering and manufacturing.
- You’ll gain exposure to equipment including industrial evaporators, air-cooled condensers, CO₂ gas coolers and fluid coolers, across commercial refrigeration, cold storage and industrial cooling applications.
