Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an HVAC Project Manager in Gainesville, FL to plan, coordinate, and oversee HVAC projects from design through commissioning. You will work with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery and adherence to specifications.

The role requires 3–5 years of HVAC project management experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project. Travel to job sites is expected in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• EPA or NATE HVAC certifications advantageous.
• 3-5 years of experience in project management within HVAC/construction.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage project schedules with milestones.
• Manage budgets, costs, and vendor agreements.
• Coordinate field team, subcontractors, and staff.
• Communicate with clients and maintain relationships.
• Ensure HVAC installs meet regulations and quality standards.
• Identify risks and develop contingency plans.
• Maintain project documentation and close-out processes.
