Job summary

Texas AirSystems in Texas is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer to learn all aspects of our products and systems, coordinating submittals, equipment selection, pricing, and ship dates for each project. This role focuses on detailed coordination with Sales, Customers, and Manufacturers to ensure timely completion and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• CAD/MEP/design experience is a plus.
• Strong ability to read and interpret building plans and specs.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain job files for each project throughout its duration.
• Optimize the project through product selection, specs, plans, estimates, proposals, value engineering and redesigns.
• Manage multiple projects on an ongoing basis.
• Communicate with owners, architects, MEP consultants and general, mechanical and electrical contractors.
• Organize project data for order entry.
• Respond to and track IOM and submittal requests.
• Read and interpret building plans and specifications.
• Develop and grow relationships with customers and manufacturers.
• Determine project requirements and align sales team responsibilities.
