Job summary

GH Engage in Reno, NV is seeking a Project Engineer to support mechanical construction projects. You will collaborate with the Project Manager and team to manage on-site coordination, documentation, cost control and scheduling.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of relevant experience, a mechanical engineering degree, and is proficient with AutoCAD and MS Office. You will communicate clearly, multi-task effectively and drive safe, on-time project delivery.

Project Engineer – Mechanical Construction

We are seeking a motivated and organised Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of mechanical construction projects. Working closely with the Project Manager and wider project team, you will assist with project documentation, cost control, scheduling and on-site coordination.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple priorities to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Support on-site project management and coordinate activities to ensure successful project delivery.
• Monitor project schedules and progress to help meet key milestones and deadlines.
• Manage Requests for Information (RFIs) and submittals, ensuring documentation is accurate and submitted on time.
• Assist with project cost tracking, job cost accounting and the resolution of project-related accounting issues.
• Process owner billings and maintain accurate project records and documentation.
• Work closely with Project Managers, subcontractors and other stakeholders to support day-to-day project operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in a Project Engineer, Project Coordinator or similar construction-related role.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with construction regulations, industry standards, best practices and project performance requirements.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively and work collaboratively within a project team.
