Ring & DuChateau LLP is seeking an HVAC Project Engineer to join our growing team. We design building systems across healthcare, commercial, educational, and institutional projects, valuing practical problem solving and collaboration.

This role offers mentorship and long-term career development within a growing firm. The ideal candidate has a mechanical engineering background, 6+ years of HVAC consulting experience, and proficiency with Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of HVAC engineering consulting experience preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Experience with Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
• Healthcare project experience is beneficial, but not required.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC systems for a variety of building projects.
• Prepare construction documents, technical calculations, and system layouts.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, architects, and contractors throughout the design process.
• Support project management activities from design through construction.
• Participate in field observations, site surveys, and construction support activities.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, and change bulletins.
• Assist with technical studies, code research, and system evaluations.
• Coordinate work with Designers and BIM staff.
