Job summary

Wieland, Inc. in Staunton, VA is hiring Production Assemblers for on-site work in HVAC heat exchanger assembly. You will read mechanical prints, assemble components, and ensure quality using measuring tools and safety procedures.

We offer pay between $24.00 and $28.00 per hour, with a bi-weekly pay schedule. Expect a Monday–Thursday 6:00am–4:30pm shift and on-site work environment. Individual experience and safety focus are valued.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of previous experience in an industrial environment preferred.
• Power industrial Truck license and usage required.
• May frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs; PPE required.
• Read and interpret mechanical instructions and drawings.
• Mechanical knowledge of machines and their maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret mechanical prints, schematics, BOMs, routing sheets and work instructions.
• Work with raw materials, processes, safety and quality assurance.
• Operate tools to assemble, braze, test, and move components and final product.
• Use measuring devices and visual inspection to ensure quality.
• Maintain required records.
