Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HVAC industry experience, especially in preconstruction/design roles.
• PE certification to stamp drawings is required or preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD for HVAC layouts and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret HVAC/mechanical drawings and documents to understand scope.
• Perform ductwork, equipment, and material takeoffs for estimating and planning.
• Develop quantity takeoffs and assist with project estimating and procurement.
• Conduct HVAC load calculations for proper sizing and performance.
• Review submittals, shop drawings, and technical docs for compliance.
• Coordinate with managers, engineers, and field teams from design through construction.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve constructability issues.
