Job summary

USA Hometown Experts is seeking an HVAC Pre-Fab Associate to assist with fabrication, assembly, and preparation of HVAC components for installation. You will read work orders, drawings, and production instructions to ensure accurate labeling and ready-to-install parts.

You will measure, cut, and assemble ductwork and related components, using hand and power tools safely. Maintain a clean, organized work area and collaborate with teammates to meet production schedules while following OSHA safety

Qualifications

• Ability to read basic measurements and drawings.
• Experience with HVAC, sheet metal, fabrication preferred.
• Detail-oriented with quality focus.
• Able to operate measuring and hand/power tools safely.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow work orders, drawings, blueprints, and production instructions.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and prepare HVAC ductwork, fittings, supports, and related components.
• Assist with the fabrication and pre-assembly of HVAC systems and components.
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and fabrication equipment safely.
• Label and organize fabricated components for installation.
• Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
• Identify damaged, defective, or incorrect materials and report issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA requirements.
• Properly handle and store tools, equipment, and materials.
• Assist with loading, unloading, moving, and staging HVAC materials as needed.
• Work effectively with other team members to meet production schedules and deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
