Job summary

Baker Brothers Plumbing, Air & Electric is seeking HVAC Preventative Maintenance Technicians to inspect and maintain residential systems and to present repair options to customers in Texas. You will order parts, collect payment, and ensure work meets local and national codes.

Requirements include a Texas driver's license, EPA certification, TDLR registration, and at least 6 months in the field. Service Titan experience is a plus; strong customer service and high attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving history.
• EPA certification and TDLR registration with the State of Texas.
• At least 6 months of field experience.
• Service Titan experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong customer service skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on residential heating and air conditioning systems.
• Operate hand and power tools to inspect, repair, and maintain furnaces, condensers, and compressors.
• Build client relationships through outstanding service and strong communication.
• Educate clients on system maintenance and replacement options.
• Identify opportunities to improve home comfort systems through product overview.
• Document service performed and recommendations in applicable records.
• Comply with state and local quality and safety standards.

Our PM Technicians are responsible inspecting and routine maintenance of HVAC systems, give customers options and pricing of repairs, order parts for install purposes and collect payment upon completion while ensuring quality work is completed to all local and national codes.

Qualifications

What Will I Do?

• Successfully perform routine maintenance on residential heating and air conditioning systems.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools to inspect repair, and conduct maintenance on furnaces, condensers, and compressors.
• Build client relationships by providing outstanding service through strong communication and customer service skills.
• Educate your clients on their systems and maintenance requirements and provide replacement options as necessary.
• Identify opportunities for clients to improve their home comfort systems through product overview.
• Document service performed and recommendations made by completing applicable forms, reports, logs and/or records.
• Complete all tasks in accordance with state and local quality and safety standards.
