Qualifications

Previous HVAC and/or plumbing service management experience.
Previous hands-on technician experience.
Strong understanding of residential service operations.
Proven ability to lead and hold technicians accountable.
Strong technical troubleshooting knowledge.
Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
Ability to coach technicians on both technical performance and customer communication.
Comfortable reviewing KPIs and using performance data to manage the department.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and hold HVAC and plumbing service technicians accountable for performance.
Manage day-to-day service department operations.
Support technicians with technical troubleshooting and difficult service calls.
Monitor technician productivity, revenue, average ticket, callbacks, close rates, and other KPIs.
Conduct regular technician meetings, training, coaching, and performance reviews.
Ensure technicians provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally with homeowners.
