Job summary

Morgan Properties is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with HVAC & plumbing experience to diagnose, repair, and maintain apartment homes. This role offers a $1,200 sign-on bonus and competitive base pay in the $24–$26.50 per hour range, plus rent discounts and benefits.

You will work on routine maintenance, appliance repairs, and on-call coverage to keep our communities well‑maintained and safe.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of general maintenance or skilled trades experience.
• Strong hands-on experience troubleshooting HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Experience repairing appliances and completing general maintenance repairs.
• Comfortable using smartphones, mobile work order applications, email, and Microsoft Teams.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, appliances, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance issues.
• Tackle a steady flow of service requests with a focus on HVAC, plumbing, and appliance troubleshooting.
• Complete apartment turns, ensuring homes are move-in ready for new residents.
• Perform preventative maintenance to help keep building systems operating efficiently.
• Maintain the interior and exterior of the community in accordance with company standards and safety requirements.
• Assist with seasonal responsibilities, grounds maintenance, and curb appeal.
• Respond promptly to resident service requests while delivering outstanding customer service.
• Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule to support after‑hours maintenance needs.
