Graef Anhalt Schloemer & Assoc invites an engineering student to join the mechanical team in downtown Milwaukee for a summer internship. You will help design HVAC and plumbing systems, perform calculations, and create models using Revit under mentorship.

The role offers exposure to project lifecycles, field site visits, and cross‑disciplinary coordination with a path to professional growth in consulting engineering.

Qualifikationen

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a mechanical focus.
• Coursework focusing on HVAC and plumbing system design for buildings preferred.
• Experience with Autodesk Revit strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Aufgaben

• Assist with HVAC and plumbing system design for a variety of building types.
• Perform system calculations including heating and cooling loads, ventilation requirements, and plumbing sizing.
• Develop project drawings and fully modeled designs utilizing Autodesk Revit.
• Perform field investigations and visit local project sites to observe construction and system installations.
• Participate in internal design meetings and multidisciplinary coordination sessions.
• Assist with construction administration tasks such as submittal review and provide response to contractor submitted RFIs.
• Broadening technical skills by working on a wide array of projects and building types.
• Other duties as may be assigned.
