Job summary

AllSearch Staffing Group’s client in Secaucus, NJ is seeking an HVAC Estimator specializing in piping for commercial mechanical construction. The role focuses on detailed cost estimates, material takeoffs, and bid packages for large-scale projects.

The candidate should have 5+ years of HVAC piping estimating experience, proficiency in Excel, and familiarity with project management and document control software. This is a full-time, in-office position in Secaucus, NJ.

Qualifications

• HVAC piping estimation experience on multimillion-dollar projects.
• Experience with mechanical construction cost estimation.
• Proficient in Excel for cost analysis.
• Familiar with project management and document control tools.
• Availability to work daily from Secaucus, NJ office.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed HVAC piping quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
• Analyze drawings and bid documents to determine scope and costs.
• Develop bid quotations, packages, and proposals for projects.
• Prepare conceptual, design-build, and budget estimates.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and engineering to obtain pricing.
• Review contracts and scope documentation for turnover.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site walkthroughs.
• Maintain estimating documentation using required software.
