SSOE Group in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for our Automotive & Manufacturing Facilities Group to develop innovative projects in transformational industrial facilities for world‑class clients.

You will collaborate with clients, engineering teams, and other professionals to ensure designs meet industry standards, quality, and compliance, while leveraging AI tools to boost productivity and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from ABET-accredited college program.
• Three or more years of related practical experience.
• Experience sizing HVAC equipment, duct and ancillary piping systems.
• Knowledge and experience using AutoCAD, REVIT preferred; Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering methods on HVAC and piping projects.
• Receives instructions on assignment objectives and derives possible solutions.
• Exercises judgment in adapting design concepts.
• Reviews work with supervisor for sound engineering practices.
• May supervise designers on the project and check their drawings.
• May write portions of specifications and assist in cost estimates.
• Performs design work in Revit and AutoCAD.
• May use AI or similar digital technology to perform the job.
