Job summary

Johnstone Supply LLC is seeking a Counter Sales Associate at our New Braunfels location. You will assist customers with HVAC/R product needs, provide technical information, and handle special orders in a busy retail environment.

You will greet customers, recommend products, process quotes and orders, and coordinate transfers between branches as needed. Strong communication and accuracy with POS systems are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required; 1+ years of related experience in wholesale/retail environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in front-line customer service and sales is preferred.
• Must be able to run a POS terminal, research HVAC/R items, and prepare required sales and customer reports.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and build rapport; assist with product selections and troubleshooting.
• Research and source HVAC/R products; coordinate transfers between branches if needed.
• Process quotes, warranties, returns, and paperwork; manage timely order fulfillment.
• Follow up on requests, deliverables, and delays; communicate with customers and management.
