Job summary

GSM Services in the Charlotte area is seeking a dependable Parts Runner to support our Residential HVAC Service team. You will deliver parts, assist technicians, and help ensure materials arrive where needed, on time.

We value organization, safety, and a strong work ethic. A valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required; ServiceTitan experience is a plus. This is a full-time, on-site role with a family-owned company.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Strong listening skills and the ability to read and write at a high school level.
• Basic computer skills; experience with ServiceTitan is a plus, but not required.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC parts, tools, and equipment is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and adapt to changing needs.
• Good communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent internal customer service.
• A dependable, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Keep the Team Moving: Pick up and deliver HVAC parts, equipment, and materials between suppliers, warehouses, and job sites.
• Ensure Accuracy: Verify parts and materials against purchase orders and delivery tickets to help maintain accurate records.
• Support Field Technicians: Assist with loading, unloading, and handling tools, equipment, and materials as needed.
• Keep Operations Organized: Return unused materials, warranty items, and purchasing documentation to the warehouse.
• Help Manage Inventory: Perform routine inventory counts and report shortages, damaged items, or discrepancies.
• Communicate Effectively: Stay in contact with dispatchers, technicians, and warehouse personnel to coordinate deliveries and material needs.
• Maintain Vehicle Readiness: Keep your company vehicle clean, safe, and well‑maintained, and complete routine vehicle inspections.
• Work Safely: Follow all company safety policies and procedures while representing GSM Services professionally.
