Job summary

YDU JC Air Cond & Ref Inc.- Dubai is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to ensure the safe and efficient operation of mechanical and utility systems. The role involves hands-on preventive and corrective maintenance on chillers, steam systems, air compressors, and utility pumps while collaborating with various technical teams.

Qualified candidates should possess 3–5+ years of experience in HVAC or industrial maintenance, along with an EPA Section 608 Certification. The position offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from $26.06 to $35.79.

Job description

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of mechanical and utility systems at one of our clients. This position performs hands‑on preventive and corrective maintenance on chillers, steam systems, air compressors, pumps, and supporting infrastructure while partnering with Operations, Construction, and Commissioning teams. This role includes on‑call responsibilities and may require working varying shifts, including weekends.

How you will do it

• Maintain and troubleshoot chiller systems including pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and refrigerant circuits.
• Support steam system operations, inspections, leak repairs, outages, and new piping ties.
• Maintain and repair air compressors, dryers, utility pumps, and related systems.
• Support construction, outages, utility tie‑ins, and commissioning activities.
• Assist with BAS/BMS monitoring, alarms, and point checks (including BACnet‑integrated systems).
• Follow all safety, compliance, and permit‑to‑work procedures (LOTO, hot work, confined space).
• Document maintenance activities and collaborate with technicians, contractors, and client teams.

What we look for
