Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 year degree or equivalent.
• Familiarity with HVAC equipment and EPA Refrigeration certification preferred.
• Ability to perform general building maintenance in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform pneumatic control systems and mechanical equipment service under the Employer’s labor agreement.
• Install complex field devices and perform commissioning using standard tools.
• Troubleshoot issues and respond to basic warranty calls; keep all parties informed.

What you will do

Apprentices shall perform all pneumatic control systems and mechanical equipment service and all other work coming under the labor agreement assigned by the Employer, limited only by their capabilities as determined by the Employer, at the respective apprentice rate of pay, and shall perform all assigned work under the direction of the Employer. Installs more complex required system field devices and commissioning using standard configuration and commissioning tools. Troubleshoots and resolves problems. Responds to basic warranty calls. Keeps JCI, contractors, and the customer informed of job progress and issues as needed.

*This is a Bargaining Unit Position.

Pay Range: $18.31 hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided

through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement. The posted salary

range reflects the target compensation for this role. However, we recognize that exceptional
