Job Description

This role requires a skilled journeyman installer who can perform HVAC installations according to design specifications, mechanical codes, and company quality standards. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or alongside a crew in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install complete HVAC systems in new residential construction, including furnaces, air handlers, condensers, ductwork, and related components.
• Read and interpret mechanical plans, blueprints, and installation drawings.
• Set equipment, run ductwork, refrigerant lines, gas piping, and condensate drains.
• Ensure all installations meet local and national mechanical codes and manufacturer specifications.
• Perform system start-ups, testing, and verification of proper operation.
• Troubleshoot installation-related issues and make necessary corrections.
• Coordinate work with builders, superintendents, and other trades on job sites.
• Maintain accurate job documentation and installation records.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA standards.
