Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group seeks a Controls Engineer specializing in Model-Based Design for HVAC applications. You will design, develop, and validate control systems and embedded software using MATLAB/Simulink, integrating with C/C++ code for embedded targets.

Responsibilities include creating verification workflows, traceability, and MAAB-compliant designs while collaborating across disciplines in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in EE/CE/CS with 3+ years in model-based software development.
• 3+ years of MATLAB/Simulink development and code integration.
• Hands-on embedded software design using C/C++ and MAAB guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, verify, and validate control systems and embedded software for HVAC products.
• Build MATLAB/Simulink models to implement control and diagnostic strategies.
• Translate system requirements into testable designs and traceability.
• Create automated verification workflows and report test results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and compliance.
• Perform MIL/SIL/HIL testing and integrate with handwritten C/C++ code.
• Maintain end-to-end requirement traceability using MBSD tools.
• Participate in Agile planning, reviews, and continuous improvement.
