Job summary

French & Parrello Associates is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead HVAC design and mechanical engineering projects from our Wall Township, NJ headquarters. The role emphasizes technical leadership, client relations, and mentorship of engineers, with responsibilities spanning design, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.

The successful candidate will have extensive HVAC project experience in a consulting environment, a NJ PE license, and proficiency with BIM tools and project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on HVAC design and systems.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of New Jersey required.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC design, codes, energy efficiency, and sustainability practices.
• Experience with BIM and project management tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage HVAC design projects for a variety of building types within a consulting environment.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, risks, and client expectations to ensure project success.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers on design and deliverables.
• Prepare design drawings, specifications, and reports and coordinate across disciplines.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and contribute to proposals and new business.
