Job summary

Garland Heating and Air Conditioning in Garland, TX is seeking an Assistant Project Manager - HVAC Mechanical to support all phases of HVAC projects, from estimating through field execution. You will work with the Project Manager and Lead Estimator to ensure scope, budget, and schedule alignment and effective communication with clients and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of HVAC construction PM experience, is proficient with Excel, QuoteSoft, MS Project, Procore and Blue Beam,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of PM experience in HVAC mechanical construction.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.
• Proficiency with Excel, QuoteSoft, MS Project, Procore, and Blue Beam.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC Division 23, drawings, specs, and construction methods.
• OSHA 30-Hour Certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
• Collaborate with design and engineering to finalize HVAC specifications.
• Oversee procurement and timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Assist in bid coordination and cost estimates for HVAC scopes.
• Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs.
• Participate in bid reviews and provide value engineering options.
• Assist in pre-construction bid proposals and budgets.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to verify scope coverage.
• Lead project meetings and communicate progress with clients and teams.
• Monitor budgets and financial reporting; review invoices and change orders.
