The Intern I will help with documentation, basic calculations, system layouts, data collection, site visits, and fieldwork, while gaining hands-on experience across building mechanical systems and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and work ethics
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Team-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work with a team of professionals and independently
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Bluebeam and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, the Intern I will support a variety of mechanical and HVAC engineering projects and assist with day-to-day project tasks.
• This may include helping with technical documentation, basic engineering calculations, equipment selection, system layouts, data collection, site visits, and other fieldwork.
• Assists with organizing data, drafting reports and providing technical support for departmental projects.
• Supports professional staff on ongoing assignments and project tasks.
• Applies basic understanding of different concepts and software tools to contribute to project deliverables.
