Job summary

Ardurra is seeking a Mechanical HVAC Intern in our Durham, NC office to support HVAC system design, load calculations, and energy efficiency improvements under supervision. The intern will gain hands-on experience across building mechanical systems and infrastructure projects.

You will assist with data collection, drafting reports, equipment selection, system layouts, and site visits while supporting professional staff on ongoing tasks.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Team-oriented with ability to work independently with supervision.
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Bluebeam).

Responsibilities

• Support HVAC engineering projects under supervision.
• Assist with data collection, basic calculations, and documentation.
