The candidate will perform routine preventive and predictive maintenance and service repairs on HVAC systems, ensuring their proper operation. The HVAC Mechanic, Level II, is responsible for independently performing routine preventive and predictive maintenance, as well as service repairs, on HVAC systems. This role includes the startup and commissioning of standard HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation and system performance. The position requires the ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics, as well as a strong understanding of ductwork, sheet metal construction, and refrigerant management practices. In addition to technical responsibilities, Level II Mechanics provide guidance and mentorship to Level I HVAC Mechanics to support skill development and overall team effectiveness.
