Job summary

Concord Hospital Health System seeks an HVAC technician who will perform skilled, complex work in repair, maintenance and installation of heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment and systems under the Manager. The role also serves as a resource to staff on HVAC and building automation education.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of HVAC experience, and knowledge of building automation, MS Office, and applicable codes.

• Performs Fire Damper documentation per CMS.

• Coordinates projects and work orders.
• Trains and mentors staff.
• Requisitions materials after researching price and efficiency.

Education

Certification, Registration & Licensure

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Refrigerant Certification preferred.

Licensure required: Valid New Hampshire Driver’s license. Driving record from Department of Motor Vehicles, and proof of insurance coverage, which complies with organization and departmental Driving Policy.

Experience

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in HVAC preferred. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office, building automation and internet software; have the knowledge and ability to interpret and apply local and national codes and standards.
