About the Role

Complete Building Services is adding an experienced HVAC Mechanic to our team. You will be supporting one of our educational partners in Manassas, VA. The work schedule is Monday - Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. The major job duties include:

1. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of systems and associated equipment.
2. Perform preventative and general maintenance on a scheduled basis.
3. Maintain equipment to industry standards.
4. Diagnose and repair HVAC and electrical problems as required and/or as assigned by the supervisor.
5. Assist and support subcontractors in the installation and/or repair of equipment and hardware as needed.
6. Coordinate with the building manager and other client representatives to ensure satisfaction.
7. Complete reports on system status and work performed daily, weekly, and monthly as directed.
8. Install or remove systems and equipment as instructed.
9. Operate and maintain HVAC and electrical systems and related hardware as directed.
10. Conduct predictive maintenance to prevent breakdowns and outages.
11. Accurately document all work performed on tickets and work orders.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience operating and maintaining commercial buildings, with familiarity in chiller systems.
• Strong experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS).
• Excellent communication skills.
