Ho-Chunk, Inc. in the United States is seeking an experienced HVAC Mechanic to operate and manage BAS, DDC, and HVACR systems in healthcare or regulated industrial environments.
You will perform maintenance, troubleshooting and programming of BAS and related equipment, ensuring energy sustainment and safe operation. The role requires reading wiring diagrams, coordinating with the maintenance team, and adhering to OSHA safety rules.
Primarily performs maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, servicing and programming of Building Automation Systems (BAS), Commercial and Industrial Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration Systems (HVACR), Exhaust Fans, Return Fans, Make Up Air Fans, Commercial Kitchen Equipment, Pneumatic and Mechanical systems. Electrical Motors, Belt, Direct Driven of various size motors and horsepower. Performs duties to support energy sustainment.
3 years' experience in a healthcare or similar regulated industrial setting as a HVAC Mechanic with primary assignment to operate and manage BAS, DDC, and HVACR systems and, any combination of education and experience, which would provide the required knowledge and skills, is qualifying.
First shift 6AM- 2:30PM or 8:00 AM- 4:30. Work is performed indoors and outdoors in climatic weather conditions. Required to wear protective clothing and devices when working with hazardous chemicals. Subjected to hazardous gases, high pressure gases, hot liquids, dirt, dust, and oil/grease. Requires physical dexterity, standing, stooping, climbing, and lifting heavy objects to perform duties. Must be physically able to work on ladders, scaffolds, platforms, roofs and in cramped equipment rooms and other confined spaces.
