Responsibilities

• Completes all necessary repairs on assigned equipment in an expeditious manner to minimize disruptions that may affect patient and staff well-being.
• Performs scheduled maintenance on assigned equipment following Engineering procedures and documents work legibly.
• Investigates environmental problems to provide a healthful environment for patients, staff and visitors.
• Submits material requisitions for repair or replacement of equipment.
• Provides occasional in-service training to hospital staff on equipment usage and care.
• On Call rotation may be required.
