Job summary

StrongBuilt Plumbing & Air (NM) in Albuquerque, NM is seeking an HVAC Tune-Up Technician to perform seasonal maintenance and system inspections. You will diagnose issues, educate customers on efficiency, and document findings.

This is a field-based role with daily travel to residential sites and opportunities for growth within a veteran-owned, customer-focused company. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of HVAC experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a safety-conscious work ethic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of HVAC trade school or technical program preferred.
• EPA Section 608 certification required; NATE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance and tune-ups on HVAC systems, including cleaning, inspecting, testing, and calibrating equipment.
• Inspect, clean, and adjust components such as condensers, blowers, coils, and filters.
• Diagnose issues during tune-ups and recommend repairs or replacements.
• Educate customers on system performance and energy efficiency.
• Document work performed and maintain safety standards.
