Freedom Power in Houston, TX is seeking an HVAC Maintenance Technician to perform thorough preventative maintenance on residential systems, explain findings in plain language with photos, and help homeowners understand options without pressure. You will follow maintenance checklists, record readings, assist with energy-saving recommendations, and document visits in ServiceTitan.

EPA 608 and Texas TDLR certifications, 3–4 years of residential HVAC experience, and a valid TX driver’s license are

Qualifications

• EPA Section 608 Certification is required.
• TDLR registration or certification is required.
• 3-4 years of residential HVAC experience.
• Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics and outdoor heat.
• Experience with ServiceTitan, Lennox, heat pumps, or electrical diagnostics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on residential HVAC systems.
• Run thorough inspections using maintenance checklists and document results with photos.
• Measure and record readings and verify system performance.
• Explain findings in plain language and recommend repairs based on system needs.
• Educate homeowners on energy-saving solutions and indoor air quality.
• Maintain professionalism and follow safety policies.
