Freedom Power is seeking an HVAC Maintenance Technician to perform thorough preventative maintenance on residential systems in Houston, TX. You will inspect, diagnose, and communicate findings clearly, helping homeowners understand system needs and value.

Responsibilities include documenting visits in ServiceTitan, maintaining safety standards, and promoting maintenance memberships. The ideal candidate holds EPA 608 and Texas HVAC credentials, with 2+ years of experience and a client-focused

Qualifications

• EPA Section 608 Certification is required.
• TDLR Registered or Certified HVAC Technician is required; minimum 2 years residential HVAC experience.
• Valid Texas driver's license with clean record.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics and outdoor heat.
• Bonus: ServiceTitan, Lennox, heat pump experience, or strong electrical diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on residential HVAC systems.
• Run comprehensive inspections using maintenance checklists.
• Record static pressure, temperatures, superheat/subcool, amp draws, voltage, and capacitor readings.
• Test system performance and verify proper operation.
• Explain findings clearly to homeowners with photos.
• Recommend repairs only when the system truly needs them.
• Document visits in ServiceTitan with photos and notes.
• Maintain professional appearance and vehicle; follow safety policies.
