Job summary

EMI Services, a TechFlow subsidiary, is hiring an HVAC General Maintenance Worker to support mission-critical infrastructure at Pax River. The GMW performs maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment, including belts, pulleys, wires, switches, and preventive tasks according to a checklist.

This position offers a total compensation package of $72.86 per hour, with fringe benefits allocated to insurance and 401k, and non-seasonal, on-base work with Local 602 union benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Maryland Journeyman License required.
• EPA Universal Refrigeration License required.
• Valid driver’s license per REAL ID Act and willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, operate, or test HVAC machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Record maintenance and repair work costs.
• Clean or lubricate equipment parts and perform preventive maintenance.
• Replace defective parts and adjust devices as needed.
• Maintain HVAC equipment and machinery across commercial buildings.
• Perform on-site cleaning of buildings and properties.
