Job summary

Cherokee County School District seeks a Maintenance/Custodial/Preventative Maintenance technician for a 12‑month assignment. Candidates must have a high school diploma, three years of HVAC repair experience, an ASE refrigerant recovery certification, working knowledge of Windows and related applications, and the ability to work well in a team.

The position reports to the Director of Maintenance, is paid on the Grade 4 Maintenance salary scale, and has an open‑until‑filled deadline with a start

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Three years of successful HVAC repair experience.
• ASE Refrigerant Recovery & Recycling Certification.
• Working knowledge of Windows and other network applications.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Must pass background check and TB screening prior to start date.
