Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas, the world's largest HVAC company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Owatonna, MN. Under limited supervision, you will diagnose issues, dismantle and repair machinery, fabricate replacement parts, and keep equipment in top condition.

You will perform preventive maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and work with PLCs/VFDs/HMIs. The 5pm–5am Wed-Fri shift involves collaborating with operators and contractors and supporting safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED and manufacturing experience.
• PIT certification and First Aid certification required.
• Prefers 2-year education in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Diagnoses trouble, replaces defective parts, and adjusts devices to ensure efficient operation.
• Works with PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs and performs basic electrical troubleshooting.
