SPX Technologies, through its Engineered Air Movement TAMCO unit in Portland, TN, seeks a Maintenance Technician to sustain HVAC-related production equipment and facilities. The role emphasizes autonomy, safety, and steady upkeep to support manufacturing goals.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years in maintenance, familiarity with HVAC service, and the ability to read schematics, troubleshoot PLCs, and work well in a collaborative team environment. Day shifts with overtime possible.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of relevant experience in maintenance.
• HVAC equipment service experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day mechanical repair and preventative upkeep of production equipment.
• Maintain equipment and facilities in good working order.
• Read electrical schematics and troubleshoot controls (relays, switches, PLCs).
• Follow safety guidelines and OSHA requirements; keep documentation up to date.
• Assist in system setups, maintenance planning, and repairs as needed.
